(moved, seconded, carried and minuted)rnin clean, carpeted, warmed, andrnwell-lighted offices, by quiet men withrnwhite collars and cut fingernails andrnsmooth-shaven cheeks who do not needrnto raise their voice.”rnTo mask this subtlety, heroic-lookingrnfigures adorn several of the buildingsrncomprising the plaza. In their Art Decornforms, with square features and a plethorarnof muscles, they represent either godsrnor goddesses, or the common man; thernimplication being that perhaps they arernboth one and the same—we are as gods.rnOn one building we see them as thernguardians of the portal. Over the mainrnentrance stand two muscular he-men,rnthe one on the left grasping a sledgehammerrnfacing another on the right whornwields a sickle (note where they stand).rnThe guardians of the gate are the proletarianrnand the farmer, laborers now unitedrnand situated so as to protect thernstraight and narrow way to eternal lifernwithin the Soviet paradise. Thus is manifestedrnthe proletarianization of society, rna popular trend culminating in a goldenrnera during the 1930’s, when, incidentally.rnRockefeller Center was constructed,rnAs an example of how serious thisrntrend had become, one only needs tornview the statue of General Thomas J.rn”Stonewall” Jackson atop Henry HousernHill on the Manassas battlefield in Virginia.rnHere, “Old Blue Light” himself isrnsquare-featured and so abounding inrnmuscles that he seems about ready tornburst out of his uniform. “Old TomrnFool” had been transformed into a superman, rnable to leap tall buildings in a singlernbound (even those in Rockefeller Center),rnfaster than the speeding bulletsrnfired at his Virginians, and more powerfulrnthan the locomotives which broughtrnthem there. The pious and modest Jackson, rnwho stood like a stone wall at FirstrnManassas and thus encouraged others tornrally around him, would hardly have recognizedrnhimself in such a light, as a supermanrnof the people. It comes as nornsurprise that this statue of Stonewall wasrnsculpted and cast in New York City, thenrndispatched to the battlefield park, duringrnthe 1930’s.rnThose who prefer the Cult of Reasonrnwould naturally be encouraged by the inscriptionrnover the entrance of the mainrnbuilding in Rockefeller Center: “Wisdomrnand knowledge shall be the stabilityrnof thy time.” To give sanction to thisrncreed, Zeus in his muscular form presidesrnover the inscription, the law-giverrnwho bestows wisdom upon mankind, inrnthis case through the medium of twornlesser deities who bear it directly to mortals.rnThe lesser gods on either side of therninscription assume the standard muscularrnforms; the one at the right hand ofrnZeus is a typical he-man god, while thernother at this left is a voluptuous she-manrngoddess. They symbolize the absoluternequality of the sexes in this totalitarianrnOlympus, their status sanctified and ordainedrnby a benevolent supreme being.rnBy extension, both sets of mortals havernthe ability to perform the same tasks, regardlessrnof their true capabilities, sincernthese words of wisdom and knowledgernfrom on high are now made flesh. Nornribs are missing here.rnFor those who might be intimidatedrnby this pantheon of musclebound messiahs, rnanother building has a more comfortablernarray of feminine figures carryingrnvases of water (living water, norndoubt), in the most blissful and happyrnstate imaginable. Upon closer inspection, rnthey turn out to be boys, similar tornthe types seen on ancient Greek pottery, rnyet these perform the tasks assigned tornwomen and slaves in most ancient civilizations.rnThe wall of yet another buildingrnhas a frieze of figures resembling arnpictograph found within an ancientrnEgyptian pyramid; some of these laborersrnare carrying vases of water as well.rnHappy servants all, the true stability ofrnthe people in a new-ordered society.rnFor the entertainment of these contentedrnservants (ostensibly to distractrntheir minds from their true condition),rnstill another building contains thernground-level studios where such programsrnas the Today Show are brought tornthe people, albeit graciously, at their ownrnlevel. Great icons of Katie and Bryantrnadorn its wall, although a Plexiglas veilrnseparates the worshippers from the highrnpriests within. The faithful behind thernbarriers rise eady in the morning (bravingrnthe most hostile elements at times)rnto join the nation in paying homage tornthe Today Show. The media gods oftenrnemerge from their studio-temple to bestowrna measure of grace upon the crowdrnoutside; they speak to them, anointrnthem, and at times even permit them tornaddress the nation. Then the grateful assemblagernbeholds as the gods ascendrnback into their studio, because as we allrnknow, the show must go on.rnAnd quite a spectacle it is. Later, afterrnthese devotions had long ceased, Irnwalked over to the studio and peeredrnthrough the Plexiglas window. The templernwas a fraud and not what it appearedrnto be on television. It looked cheap. Thernfurniture is so modest that one mightrnhave thought it came from an estate sale;rna corrugated metal bookshelf houses anrnarray of books which might easily havernbeen bought at a rummage sale; the photographsrnin the background of the interviewrnliving rooms, which depict thernfairest scenes in nature, are mere plasticrnpanels of the type sold in Wal-Mart.rnAnd to think, all this time, I and the nationrnstood in awe of this studio broughtrnto our level and the larger-than-life figuresrnwithin.rnAll of these subtle and not-so-subtlernmessages are the real voices of the mediarnmouthpiece which herald the arrival ofrnthe New World Order. They are the livingrnsymbols of a real presence wherernworidly knowledge is praised unceasinglyrnand the accomplishments and refinementsrnof Western Christian civilizationrnare continually distorted by merciless, rnblaring propaganda. All of this has beenrnhappily subsidized by the managerialrnelites who serve at the Altar of Reason, rndetermine church policy at the Councilrnon Foreign Relations, and sing the praisesrnof Prometheus, who has ironically deceivedrnthe deceivers. That is why he justrnsprawls there, shining and smiling.rnPrometheus has so blinded the woridrnthat his true nature cannot be seen in thernlight (which would normally dispel him),rneven when the sun is shining. The multitudesrnwho flock to Rockefeller Centerrncannot see his true nature on the fairestrnof days because they are busy admiringrnthe awe-inspiring temples in the complex, rnplaces he calls home. It takes therngloom of adversity, manifested by a rainyrnday, to look within ourselves first, so thatrnwe might see Prometheus laughing at usrnin our pride and folly. When our eyesrnare thus opened, we will know true wisdomrnand knowledge, and see that Prometheus, rnso godlike, is chained to a rockrnfor all eternity for calling himself God.rnBut like the dragon in the Book of Revelation, rnhe has been let loose to breathernthe flames of wisdom and knowledge, rndeceive the multitudes, and bring us allrndown into the lake of fire with him.rnR.T.
