Shernwas attacked as a racist by campusrnactivists and she wasrnridiculed by professors in class.rnDean of Students, RogerrnBallou, took one look at thernposter and said, “This mustrngo!” Then he circulated a memornsaying the poster smacked ofrnwhite supremacy. He said thatrnJennifer and other conservativesrnshould publicly debate their decisionrnto display the poster.rnBut Jennifer wanted the issuesrnraised by the poster to berndebated, not whether she had arnright to display it. She calledrnYoung America’s Foundation forrnhelp.
